In PlayLa, the product catalogue and the POS terminal share the same data. Add a product once — name, price, cost, tax, stock level — and it appears in the POS grid immediately. Update a price in the catalogue and it reflects in POS, member app, and all reports instantly. No duplicate data entry.

Common questions
Does PlayLa integrate with a barcode scanner?
Yes. Any Bluetooth or USB barcode scanner that sends a keyboard input signal works with the PlayLa POS on a tablet or computer. Scan the product barcode and it adds immediately to the current transaction.
Can I track drinks separately from pro-shop items?
Yes. Products are organised into categories you define. Sales reports, inventory reports, and the P&L all show revenue and stock data broken down by category. You can compare F&B performance to pro-shop performance on the same screen.
What happens if I sell more than I have in stock?
By default, PlayLa warns the cashier when a product's stock level would go negative and asks for confirmation. You can configure whether negative stock is blocked entirely or just flagged. Negative stock always appears in the inventory dashboard for follow-up.
Can I do a stocktake without closing the POS?
Yes. The stocktake tool runs independently of the POS. Sales continue during a count. Once you submit your count, the system calculates variances based on what should have been sold between the count start time and submission.
