How the calculation works
For each price band: courts × days open × hours per day × occupancy × hourly price. Add peak and off-peak revenue. Divide a 90-minute price by 1.5 to get its hourly equivalent.
Weighted occupancy is booked court-hours divided by available court-hours. Peak hours cannot exceed opening hours. Rates and occupancy are user-entered assumptions.
An example you can check
Four courts open 14 hours for 30 days give 1,680 available court-hours. Six peak hours at 70% occupancy and $40 per hour give $20,160. Eight off-peak hours at 35% and $25 per hour add $8,400. Total: $28,560 at 50% weighted occupancy.
These are editable example assumptions, rather than observed club results or a demand forecast. Gross court revenue excludes costs, tax, fees, discounts, refunds, coaching, memberships, retail and food or drinks.
